29 CFR 1910.134(h)(2)(i): Respirators were not stored to protect them from damage, contamination, dust, sunlight, extreme temperatures, excessive moisture, and damaging chemicals or were not packed or stored to prevent deformation of the facepiece and exhalation valve: a) Sandblasting area, on or about 1/16/16: Supplied air respirator hoods used by sand blasters were stored in the open air in the break room, not protected from cadmium, lead, silica, and other heavy metal dusts. Abatement certification must be submitted for this item.
