29 CFR 1910.95(k)(1): The employer did not train each employee who was exposed to noise at or above an 8-hour time weighted average of 85 decibels in accordance with the requirements of this section. The employer did not institute a training program and ensure employee participation in the program. a. A&D Wood Products, Inc. located in Elida, Ohio: On or about December 4, 2014, the employer did not ensure employees who were required to wear hearing protection when working in the shop, were provided with hearing conservation training. Employees were exposed to noise levels in excess of 95 dBA as an eight hour time weighted average exposure while operating equipment such as air nailers, bands saws, and swing saws.
