29 CFR 1910.134(e)(1): The employer did not provide a medical evaluation to determine the employee ability to use a respirator, before the employee was fit tested or required to use the respirator in the workplace: a) Throughout the facility, on or about 4/1/14 Medical evaluations were not provided for employees that wear respirators including, but not limited to, welders wearing 3M half face air purifying respirators with P100 cartridges. Abatement certification must be submitted for this item.
