Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 001C Hazard:
29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer shall provide a training program for each employee who might be exposed to fall hazards. The program shall enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and shall train each employee in the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards: a) On or about July 15, 2013, at the jobsite located at 1034 S. Kostner Avenue, Chicago, IL- employees working in a rehab building with unprotected sides and edges were not trained to recognize conditions that would create fall hazards in the work environment, thereby exposing the employees to fall hazards.
