29 CFR1926.200(g)(2): All traffic control signs and devices used for protection of the workers did not conform to Part VI of the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) Millennium Edition Section 6D (Pedestrian and Worker Safety): a) On or about 5/16/13 on State Route 394 west of Quillian Road, Westfield, New York; employees were installing a new communications cable while working from the west bound shoulder with encroachment in the west bound lane. Employees were not trained or knowledgeable in workzone or traffic control applications. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
