29 CFR 1910.134(f)(2): Employee(s) using tight-fitting facepiece respirators were not fit tested prior to initial use of the respirator: (Construction Reference 1926.103) The employer does not ensure that employees using a tight-fitting face piece respirator are fit tested prior to initial use of the respirator. This violation occurred on or about April 28, 2012, at a residential home under construction where a fit test was not provided for employees required to wear a 3M full face respirator with high efficiency (HE) filters and a Bullard free air pump when spraying foam insulation, exposing employees to inhalation hazards.
