29 CFR 1910.335(a)(1)(i):Employees working in areas where there are potential electrical hazards shall be provided with, and shall use, electrical protective equipment that is appropriate for the specific parts of the body to be protected and for the work to be performed. a.) Job Site: 493 Nixon Road, Cheswick, PA 15024. On or about April 8, 2025, the employer did not ensure all employees that were working on live electrical inside the General Electric AV-Line Switchboard Panel unit had adequate personal protective equipment to protect themselves. Employees were in the process of running electrical conduit into a 480V (line to line) 277V (line to neutral) switchboard panel when an employee came in contact with live 480V wires from the AV-Line Switchboard Panel. No arc flash personal protective equipment was in use by the employees performing the work.
