29 CFR 1910.253(b)(2)(iv):Valve protection caps, where cylinder is designed to accept a cap, shall always be in place, hand-tight, except when cylinders are in use or connected for use. On or about February 4, 2025, at an establishment located at 409 Birch Street Tigerton, WI; a compressed gas cylinder stored outside near the generator did not have its valve cap on, exposing employees to the hazards of explosions and fire.
