Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 001C Hazard:
29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area: a) On or about January 22, 2025, and at times prior, employees were exposed to fire hazards, inhalation hazards, and skin/eye irritation hazards. The employer failed to ensure employees were properly trained on hazardous chemicals, including but not limited to, Prime Guard -50 RV & Marine Antifreeze and carbon monoxide, when performing drain tech operations such as hydrojetting.
