29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(i): The training program of the employer did not ensure that purpose and function of the energy control program are understood by employees and that the knowledge and skills required for the safe application, usage, and removal of the energy controls are acquired by employees, and did not include all the training elements listed under Items A-C of 29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(i): a) On or about October 23, 2024, and at times prior, the employer did not ensure the employees had acquired the knowledge and skills required for the safe application, usage, and removal of the energy controls and the employer did not ensure that the training program included all the training elements listed under items A-C of 29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(i), in that the employees did not receive training on the recognition of hazardous energy sources including the type and magnitude of the energy available in the workplace, and the methods and means necessary for energy isolation and control.
