CFR 1910.134(f)(2): The employer did not ensure that an employee using a tight-fitting respirator is fit tested prior to initial use, whenever a different respirator facepiece (size, style, make or model) is used, and at least annually thereafter. Euro Plus GC Corp: 48-04 (48-00) Astoria Blvd. South, Astoria, NY. a) The employer provided and required employees to wear tight-fitting 3M half-mask elastomeric respirators with gas/vapor cartridges/filters P100 and 3M 8511 N95 respirators while engaged in manufacturing activities including cutting, polishing, and sanding marble and quartzite stone containing 40 to 90% crystalline silica. The employer did not provide fit testing to employees prior to required use of respirators; on or about 10/31/2024. Note: In addition to abatement certification, the employer is required to submit abatement documentation for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19.
