29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1):Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area: (a) On or about July 12, 2024, and at times prior, an employee was exposed to chemical hazards including but not limited to, Champion Liquid Chlorinator (Sodium hypochlorite, CAS # 7681-52-9, 10-20%) and Liquid Acid (Sulfuric Acid, CAS # 7664-93-9, 36-37%) where the employer had not provided effective training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at 2340 Hanson Road in Jefferson, Wisconsin.
