29 CFR 1926.502(d)(11): Lifelines were not protected against being cut or abraded: Location: 44 Hudson Street, Dover, NJ - Roof a. The employer did not ensure that lifelines were installed in ways that could prevent them from being cut or abraded. Employees engaged in residential roofing activities used lifelines which were wrapped around the chimney as a means of fall protection where the lifeline movements could be abraded, exposing employees to fall hazards. b. The employer did not ensure that lifelines were installed in ways that could prevent them from being cut or abraded. Employees engaged in residential roofing activities used lifelines in close proximity to and unprotected from the blade of a circular saw, exposing employees to fall hazards. Violation occurred on or about July 10, 2024.
