29 CFR 1910.212(a)(2): Guard(s) on machine(s) were not affixed to the machine or secured elsewhere when attachment to the machine was not possible: a) In the Molding Department- On or about April 24, 2024, the employer did not ensure that all guards on machines such as air press machine "A", were affixed and/or secured in a manner that would prevent employees from having any part of their body in the machine moving parts or danger zone during the operating cycle. The guard on the air press machine was not secured or interlocked to prevent employees from accessing the area during normal production.
