29 CFR 1910.307(c)(1): Equipment, wiring methods, and installations of equipment in hazardous (classified) locations were not intrinsically safe, approved for the hazardous (classified) location, or safe for the hazardous (classified) location in that equipment including wall plugs, switches, lighting and associated wiring were not approved as intrinsically safe: (a)Lloyd Companies dba Engineered Truss Systems, LLC. at 1400 East Benson Road, Sioux Falls, SD 57104: On or about and at times prior to January 17, 2024, the employer did not ensure that wall plugs, switches, lighting and associated wiring in Class II, Division II environments were intrinsically safe and approved for Class II, Division II environments. This condition exposed employees to hazards associated with fire and explosion hazards.
