29 CFR 1910.37(b)(6): Each exit sign was not illuminated to a surface value of at least five foot-candles (54 lux) by a reliable light source and be distinctive in color: a)T & J Industries, Inc dba Metal Craft Industries at 1014 South Hillside Drive, Sioux Falls, SD 57110: On or about and at times prior to December 6, 2023, the employer did not ensure that exit signs were illuminated to a surface value of at least five foot-candles (54 lux) by a reliable light source in that all illuminative type exit signs in the facility were not operational. This condition exposed employees to emergency egress hazards.
