29 CFR 1910.23(e)(1)(vii): Mobile ladder stands and platforms that have wheels or casters were not equipped with a system to impede horizontal movement when an employee is on the stand or platform. (a) In the maintenance shop at 122 Mill Road, McDonough, Georgia: On or about September 5, 2023, and at times prior, employees were exposed to a fall hazard of more than 13-ft. in that the employer did not ensure two 12-step rolling metal ladders were equipped with brake and locking mechanisms, to prevent accidental rolling.
