29 CFR 1910.37(b)(5): Exit Routes and Emergency Planning. Maintenance, safeguards, and operational features for exit routes. Lighting and marking must be adequate and appropriate. Each doorway or passage along an exit access that could be mistaken for an exit must be marked "Not an Exit" or similar designation, or be identified by a sign indicating its actual use (e.g., closet). a) On or about April 29, 2022, employer did not ensure that a door in the freezer room had a sign stating not an exit.
