29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(3)(iv): The details of the hazard communication program developed by the employer, did not include an explanation of the labels received on shipped containers and the workplace labeling system used by their employer: a) Covert Manufacturing, Inc. located at 328 South East Street in Galion, Ohio 44833: On or about November 4, 2021, the employer did not provide hazards communication training which included an explanation of the workplace labeling system. Employees handling Purple Cleaner and Degreaser Concentrate and Spray HIB 6000-B were exposed to hazards associated with sodium hydroxide, butoxyethanol, and sulfonic acids, such as, but not limited to burns to the eyes and skin, and irritation to the respiratory tract.
