29 CFR 1910.134(f)(2):Employee(s) using tight-fitting facepiece respirators were not fit tested prior to initial use of the respirator: a) Arms Acres located at 75 Seminary Hill Rd. Carmel, NY - On or about September 2021 and thereafter, the employer did not provide a fit test to all employees required to wear respirators. The employer required employees including, but not limited to nurses, to wear N-95 filtering facepiece respirators to protect against the SARS-CoV-2 virus while providing direct care to suspected and confirmed positive COVID-19 patients. b) Arms Acres located at 75 Seminary Hill Rd. Carmel, NY - On or about September 2021 and thereafter, the employer did not provide a fit test to all employees required to wear respirators. The employer required employees including, but not limited to maintenance employees, to wear 3M half-face respirators while cleaning the rooms that were previously occupied by COVID-19 positive patients.
