29 CFR 1910.134(f)(2): The employer did not ensure that an employee using a tight-fitting facepiece respirator is fit tested prior to initial use of the respirator, whenever a different respirator facepiece (size, style, model or make) is used, and at least annually thereafter. a) WellNow Urgent Care, 200 East 1st Street, Oswego, NY, on or about 7/14/2021: The employer required employees to wear N95 (Moldex) filtering facepiece respirators to protect against the SARS-CoV-2 virus while providing care to suspected and confirmed positive patients and failed to ensure all employees were fit tested prior to the use of the respirators. Abatement documentation must be submitted for this item.
