29 CFR 1926.21(b)(2): The employer shall instruct each employee in the recognition and avoidance of unsafe conditions and the regulations applicable to his work environment to control or eliminate any hazards or other exposure to illness or injury. (a) On or about June 30, 2021, all temporary employees working at the mezzanine construction site in Dayton, OH, had not been provided site specific safety and health training about personal protective equipment required (steel toed work boots), and working in an area where posts were being set with a forklift while the temporary employees were drilling holes in a 500 pound beam set on sawhorses, by the employer, Jordan Mechanical and Technical Corp.
