29 CFR 1910.1200(g)(8): The employer did not maintain in the workplace copies of the required safety data sheets for each hazardous chemical. a) DECA Commissary (1588 Mall Drive, Norfolk, VA 23511): On or about 03/16/2021 and times prior thereto, the employer did not ensure that all Safety Data Sheets, associated with the cleaning chemicals used at their facility, were available and up-to-date. All safety documents in DECA's chemical inventory binder were Material Safety Data Sheets, printed prior to the 2012 29CFR 1910.1200 update. Also, the disinfecting wipes, Lysol, and Fabuloso cleaning products used routinely onsite did not have associated Safety Data Sheets in the chemical inventory binder. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employee(s) and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
