29 CFR 1910.134(k)(1): The employer did not provide effective training to ensure that each employee could demonstrate knowledge of each element of 1910.134(k)(1)(i) - (vii): (a) Jan-Care of Tri-State, Inc. located at 1301 7th Avenue, Suite D Huntington, WV 25701 On or about January 23, 2020 and times prior, the employer did not provide work-site specific training on each of the required elements to ensure employees could demonstrate knowledge of the limitations and capabilities of the respirator, how to use the respirator effectively in emergency situations and how to recognize medical signs and symptoms that may limit or prevent the effective us of respirators. The employer required employee use of N95 face filtering respirators to protect against SARS-Co-V-2 virus while providing healthcare for suspected and confirmed COVID-19 positive patients.
