29 CFR 1910.134(k)(1): For employees who are required to use a respirator, the employer did not ensure that each employee can demonstrate knowledge of items in (i)-(vii): a) Abingdon Care & Rehabilitation, 303 Rock Avenue, Green Brook, NJ 08812: On or about 4/27/2020 and thereafter, employees such as Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants were required to wear N95 respirators while providing direct nursing and care to patients suspected or confirmed as having COVID-19. The employer did not instruct employees on respirator topics such as inspection, medical symptoms that would prevent use, and general requirements of the OSHA standard.
