29 CFR 1910.134(f)(2): Employee(s) using tight-fitting facepiece respirators were not fit tested prior to initial use of the respirator: Alden Valley Ridge Rehabilitation and Care Center, Memory Care/Dementia Unit on the third floor: On April 15, 2020 through May 31, 2020, employees were required to perform tasks such as feeding, bathing, maintaining continence, inserting and maintaining IVs, conducting assessments, and performing skin treatments on residents who had been identified as having contracted COVID-19, while using tight-fitting facepiece respirators. The employees were not fit tested prior to the initial use of the respirator.
