Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system unless another provision in paragraph (b) of this section provides for an alternative fall protection measure. a) Swiss Construction, LLC, at a jobsite located at 1437 Hoovler Way Lot 101, Pataskala, Ohio 43062: On and/or preceding August 11, 2020, the employer did not ensure employees were adequately protected from falls while engaged in residential construction activities. Employees were installing floor joists for the second story while exposed to fall hazards of 12 feet, 3 inches. Swiss Construction, LLC was previously cited for a Repeat violation of this occupational safety and health standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1258189, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on October 17, 2017, with respect to a workplace located at 1635 Tamarac Drive, Marysville, OH 43040. Swiss Construction, LLC was previously cited for a Repeat violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(2)(i), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1193911, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on March 9, 2017 with respect to a workplace located at 100 North Ave, Tallmadge, OH 44278.
