29 CFR 1910.184(d): Each day before being used, the sling and all fastenings and attachments were not being inspected for damage or defects by a competent person designated by the employer: On or about 7-27-2020, in the production area, employees exposed to a struck-by hazard, in that the employer failed to create and implement a requirement for all employees using slings to inspect all slings, fastenings, and attachments before each use for damage or defects.
