29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(i)(A): Authorized employee(s) did not receive training in the recognition of applicable hazardous energy sources, the type and magnitude of the energy available in the workplace, and the methods and means necessary for energy isolation and control; On or about July 14, 2020 the employer failed to ensure that employees tasked with servicing and maintaining equipment including but not limited to mechanical power presses were trained as authorized employees to perform such tasks. Operators routinely perform tasks requiring the control of hazardous energies including but not limited to die changes, setup, and die maintenance.
