29 CFR 1910.134(k)(1): The employer did not provide effective training that covered the required elements in 1910.134(k)(1)(i) - (vii): On or between June 7, 2020, and June 13, 2020, the employer inadequately trained employees whom it required to wear N95 respirators, such as but not limited to Correctional Officers. The employer failed to ensure each employee could demonstrate knowledge of at least the following: a. Why the respirator is necessary and how improper fit, usage, or maintenance can compromise the protective effect of the respirator. 1910.134(k)(1)(i) b. What the limitations and capabilities of the respirator are. 1910.134(k)(1)(ii) c.
