29 CFR 1910.134(f)(2): Employee(s) using tight-fitting facepiece respirators were not fit tested prior to initial use of the respirator and at least annually thereafter. a) Spring Valley Rest Home LLC at 184 South Pascack Rd. Nanuet, NY 10954: The employer did not fit test employees such as but not limited to Housekeepers, Laundry Aides, and an Assistant in charge of medications who were required to wear 3M N95 respirators when working with residents suspected or confirmed to be infected with SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus. The violation occurred on or about 04/05/2020. This instance also refers to OSHA inspection #s 1477917 and 1477908 opened on 6/9/2020. NOTE: BECAUSE ABATEMENT OF THIS VIOLATION IS ALREADY DOCUMENTED IN THE INSPECTION CASE FILE, THE EMPLOYER NEED NOT SUBMIT CERTIFICATION OF ABATEMENT FOR THIS VIOLATION AS NORMALLY REQUIRED BY 29 CFR 1903.19.
