29 CFR 1910.134(f)(2): Employee(s) using tight-fitting facepiece respirators were not fit tested prior to initial use of the respirator. a) Oakland Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center at 20 Breakneck Road, Oakland NJ: On or about May 6, 2020, and continuing thereafter, the employer did not provide a fit test to all employees required to wear respirators. The employer required employees, including nurses, CNAs, and patient care assistants, to wear 3M #8210 N95 Respirators to protect against SARS-CoV-2 while providing care to suspected or confirmed COVID-19 positive patients.
