29 CFR 1910.147(c)(6)(i)(B): The periodic inspection of the energy control procedure was not conducted to correct any deviations or inadequacies identified: a) Energy Control Program: On or about April 7, 2020 and at times prior thereto the employer failed to identify serious inadequacies in the energy control program during the periodic reviews of the program and the procedures. Various hazardous energy sources encountered during scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks were not recognized, and procedures were not developed, documented or included in the training. These hazardous energy sources include, but may not be limited to, pneumatic pressure on the PB-15 grinder shovel cylinder guide rods, and steam on the cooker. Note) Certification of corrective action is required for this item.
