29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(i): Flexible cords and cables were not approved for conditions of use and location: (a) On or about March 20, 2019, an indoor/outdoor rated; approximately 100 foot long, 14 AWG, flexible cord in the plumbing testing department was powering a sump pump with its connection resting on top of a box that was placed into a puddle of water approximately 10 feet wide by 20 feet long by 2 inches deep. The cords connection was on top of a box because it was not approved for use where it would be submerged in water and two employees working within the puddle area were exposed to an electrical shock hazard.
