29 CFR 1910.335(a)(1)(i): Employees working in areas where there were potential electrical hazards were not provided with electrical protective equipment that was appropriate for the specific parts of the body that needed to be protected and for the work being performed: a) Capital Region Readiness Center Battery Room: On or about December 4, 2018, employees removed and replaced batteries that were tied in series to equal 540V and 2200amps. The employees wore leather gloves that were not electrically rated for the work being conducted. b)Capital Region Readiness Center Battery Room: On or about December 4, 2018, employees removed and replaced batteries that were tied in series to equal 540V and 2200amps. The employees did not utilize any personal protective equipment such as insulating aprons to protect their body's from the live DC power.
