29 CFR 1910.219(f)(3): Sprocket wheels and chains which were seven -7 feet or less above floors or platforms were not enclosed: On or about October 17, 2018, in the saw mill a/c room, below the sawmill dust belt conveyor, the employer did not provide guarding around a horizontal chain and sprocket on the dust belt conveyor. Employee performing troubleshooting on jammed dust belt conveyor was exposed to a caught in hazard that resulted in an amputation.
