29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Employees shall be provided with eye and face protection equipment when machines or operations present potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents. On or about September 11, 2018, An employee was exposed to a struck-by hazard in the eye while using a pneumatic nail gun, on a construction site in Arcola, Illinois, and the employer did not ensure the use of eye protection.
