29 CFR 1910.335(a)(2)(ii): Protective shields, protective barriers, or insulating materials were not used to protect each employee from shock, burns, or other electrically related injuries while that employee was working near exposed energized parts. (a) M/V Matanuska - Car Deck - On or about February 2nd, 2018 and at times prior thereto, employees were exposed to electrical hazards that would result in cardiac arrest, severe burns and death while connecting or disconnecting wiring in the circuit breakers of the temporary load centers. The employees were working in the GE TE100R Mod. 8 type 3R panel enclosures with energized 100A, 480VAC and 30A, 480VAC circuit breakers without arc flash protective clothing and/or equipment.
