29 CFR 1910.134(f)(2): Employee(s) using a tight-fitting facepiece respirators were not annually fit tested: (Construction Reference 1926.103) a) Power Concrete Co., Inc./Orphan bridge deck on Port Reading Avenue between ProLogis Way and West Avenue in Woodbridge Township, NJ- The employer did not ensure that employees required to wear 3M tight fitting respirators to protect them from respirable crystalline silica hazards, were fit tested annually. Employees used jackhammers and handheld power saws to cut concrete, which created clouds of silica dust exposing employees to 168 micrograms per cubic meter as an 8-hour TWA, which is three times the PEL of 50 micrograms per cubic meter. Condition observed on or about December 15, 2017.
