29 CFR 1910.134(f)(1): The employer did not ensure that employee(s) required to use a tight-fitting facepiece respirator passed the appropriate qualitative fit test (QLFT) or quantitative fit test (QNFT): a) Painting department The employer did not provide an annual fit test for a spray painter required to wear a full face air purifying respirator with combination cartridges while spray painting pieces. Paint products included, but were not limited to International Tru-glaze 4508H epoxy (ethylbenzene, methyl isobutyl ketone, xylene) and Research Solutions lacquer thinner (toluene, xylene, methanol, butyl acetate, acetone). Violation occurred on or about 4/4/17.
