29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees are exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body are not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use: a) On or about March 17, 2017, and times prior thereto, the employer does not ensure multiple eyewash stations throughout the facility are installed in such a manner they are accessible to employees of the sanitation contractor PSSI (Packers Sanitation Services Inc.) who uses corrosive materials to clean throughout the facility. Employees of the contractor are exposed to hazards associated with physical contact with chemicals. b) On or about March 19, 2017 an eye wash station provided for use on the kill floor is blocked by a welding cart exposing employees to hazards associated with physical contact with chemicals. c) On or about March 17, 2017, and times prior thereto, the employer does not ensure an eye wash station is available in the area custodians use while adding cleaning chemicals to secondary containers before use exposing employees to hazards associated with physical contact with chemicals.
