29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(i)(B): Affected employees were not instructed in the purpose and use of the energy control procedure: On or about 2/1/2017 in the Baldwin Press Plant area at 1700 Old Covington Highway, Conyers, GA: When authorized employees did not facilitate lockout tagout procedures and instead used alternative procedures, they failed to inform the affected employees working in the area, which were exposed to an amputation hazard. The employer did not provide the affected employees instruction on the energy control procedures for the Baldwin Defiance Model 20 Press having service and or maintenance performed during a malfunction or a substandard product manufactured.
