29 CFR 1910.23(c)(11): Portable ladders used to gain access to an upper landing surface did not have side rails that extended at least 3 feet (0.9 m) above the upper landing surface: a) 9000 River Rd, Delair, NJ, 08110- Anodizing: Employees accessed areas including, but not limited to, the anodizing tanks, by using equipment including, but not limited to, a self-supporting portable Louisville A-frame ladder in the folded position, which did not extend at least 3 feet above the upper landing, observed on or about 2/3/2017. NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO DO SO WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
