29 CFR 1910.333(b)(2)(ii)(C): Stored electric energy which might endanger personnel was not released. Capacitors were not discharged and high capacitance elements were not short-circuited and grounded. A. Schulman Custom Compounding NE, Inc., Smog-Hog #3, 53 Millbrook Street, Worcester, Massachusetts; An employee was exposed to stored electrical energy of up to 13,800 Volts DC while working on a Smog-Hog electrostatic precipitator where the capacitors had not been discharged to ground prior to opening the equipment door.
