29 CFR 1910.23(e)(1): Standard railing did not consist of top rail, intermediate rail and/or posts and/or did not have a vertical height of 42 inches (106.7 cm) nominal from upper surface of top rail to floor, platform runway, or ramp level: (a) On or about January 16, 2015, and at times prior to that date, for employees exposed to an approximate seven foot fall hazard where the work platform top rail measured 36 inches in vertical height on the Battenfeld-Fischer, Extrusion Blow Molding Machine, Type: FHB-054-1, Mach No. 4003, and was accessed to perform servicing and maintenance at 1311 Four Bottle Drive, Valley City, North Dakota.
