29 CFR 1910.95(i)(3): Employees were not given the opportunity to select their hearing protectors from a variety of suitable hearing protectors provided by the employer. a. A&D Wood Products, Inc. located in Elida, Ohio: On or about December 4, 2014, the employer did not ensure employees who were required to wear hearing protection when working in the shop, were provided with multiple types of hearing protection. Employees were exposed to noise levels in excess of 95 dBA as an eight hour time weighted average exposure while operating equipment such as air nailers, bands saws, and swing saws.
