29 CFR 1926.21(b)(2): The employer shall instruct each employee in the recognition and avoidance of unsafe conditions and the regulations applicable to his work environment to control or eliminate any hazards or other exposure to illness or injury. KCH Mechanical, Inc. had employees exposed to electrical hazards on a residential construction site in Effingham, Illinois. The employer did not provide construction safety training to employees, in order to provide them with knowledge on the applicable safety rules and requirements as well as the proper work procedures to follow, in order to minimize and eliminate safety construction hazards.
