29 CFR 1910.178(n)(4): The driver was not required to slow down and sound the horn at cross aisles and other locations where vision was obstructed. On 7/11/2013, employees working at YRC Freight located at 400 Barton Street, St. Louis MO were not sounding horns while exiting trailers where their vision was obstructed. The forklifts do not have back-up alarms so horns are critical while backing out of trailers and vision is obstructed.
