29 CFR 1910.307(c): Equipment, wiring methods, and installations of equipment in hazardous (classified) locations were not intrinsically safe, approved for the hazardous (classified) location, or safe for the hazardous (classified) location: (a) On December 28, 2012, in the flammable liquid storage room next to the shredder room where approximately 526 gallons of flammable liquids were being stored, a portable electric reciprocating saw not suitable for use in a Class 1 hazardous (classified) location was brought into the room to cut metal filters casings.
