29 CFR 1926.1101(f)(3)(i): The employer failed to conduct daily monitoring that was representative of the exposure of each employee assigned to work in regulated areas and performing Class I or II work: a) Kyklos Bearing International, LLC - Sandusky, Ohio: On or about October 1, 2012, the employer failed to conduct daily exposure monitoring for the employees engaging in Class I asbestos work. Employees were exposed to potential long term health effects after coming into contact with asbestos containing material (10-15% chrysotile) while removing an ash hopper from Boiler #3 and the employer did not have a negative exposure assessment completed.
